Our Partner Schools

Expanding The Mwebaza Foundation mission.

The Mwebaza Foundation currently has three Colorado partner schools and three African partner schools. These are:

The partnership between Coyote Ridge Elementary School in Broomfield, Colorado and St. Paul School in Nkokonjeru, Uganda looks to be every bit as successful and mutually-beneficial as the Niwot-Mwebaza relationship. In the Summer of 2009, several Mwebaza Foundation board members visited St. Paul School to begin laying the groundwork for this new partnership. In the spring of 2010, Coyote Ridge held a successful book sale fundraiser to benefit its Ugandan partner school.

The Mwebaza Foundation is also fostering a partnership with Global Orphan Relief to assist a failing school in Silembe, Zambia. This Zambian school has recently been paired with Eagle Crest Elementary in Longmont, Colorado.

Eagle Crest Elementary and Coyote Ridge Elementary have already begun pen pal relationships with and sent school supplies to their African partner schools. Through these new friendships, the parents and staff of Eagle Crest and Coyote Ridge Elementaries hope to give the children of their communities an increased awareness of African cultures, and a desire to care for the underprivileged of the world.
