Learn about the impact of our cross-cultural education & co-operative business programs.
Mwebaza Foundation creates lasting impact through education programs in both Colorado and Uganda, plus entrepreneurship initiatives in Uganda. As a Colorado-based nonprofit, we believe in collaboration over charity—building programs that equip rather than create dependency.
The impact of our Sustainable Development Nonprofit Work
Our work focuses on grassroots projects that honor local knowledge and leadership. We center community-led initiatives that respect environmental stewardship, and prioritize ethical partnership, not extraction.
Unlike traditional charity models, Mwebaza Foundation works alongside our partners as equals. Every project is designed with community input to ensure we're supporting—not undermining—local power and agency. Our initiatives in both Uganda and Colorado are built to be sustainable, non-extractive, and rooted in mutual respect.
